iTaobuy Spreadsheet: Lighting Agent for Direct Buy, Fill&Buy & MegaShip

iTaobuy separates Direct Buy, Fill&Buy, forwarding and MegaShip, which matters for lighting because a glass pendant, a Yupoo seller album lamp and a bulk bulb carton do not enter the service the same way. Each route leaves a different evidence trail, so record the source link or seller details, the variant, domestic delivery, the QC decision and the parcel plan before paying.

iTaobuy is a China shopping agent that routes lamp, lighting and bulb orders through Direct Buy, manual Fill&Buy or warehouse forwarding, then handles QC photos, consolidation and international dispatch. Our testing team used it to move fragile shades, bulky fixtures and loose bulb cartons from Taobao, Weidian and Yupoo sellers into one warehouse, and MegaShip covers heavier DDP consignments.

iTaobuy is better understood as a routing platform than as one fixed checkout path, and home lighting exposes why. A parsed Taobao pendant light, a Weidian floor lamp from an album that needs manual instructions, and a bulb order the buyer already paid for in China do not enter the service in the same way. Direct Buy, Fill&Buy and forwarding bring those sources into one warehouse workflow for visible-condition QC, consolidation and international dispatch. MegaShip then extends the same workflow beyond ordinary parcels to eligible DDP sea-freight consignments of up to 3 tons. For lighting buyers the useful question is never just whether the advertised service fee is zero. It is which route controls the purchase, which costs appear at each handoff, whether the shade arrived intact and the voltage matches, and how the parcel is built once the box is packed. Our testing team ordered and tested representative items — a glass-shade table lamp, a seller-album wall light and a carton of LED bulbs — and the pattern that mattered was documenting evidence at each handoff rather than trusting one clean-looking agent page. This page follows that decision chain instead of treating every spreadsheet link as the same kind of order. Figures below are checkpoints, not permanent promises; fees, routes and quotations change, and the live order, warehouse and parcel screens control.

What works well

  1. Three buying modes in one account: parsed marketplace links, manual Fill&Buy orders and warehouse forwarding for lighting bought elsewhere

  2. Documented support for mixed sources such as Weidian, Yupoo and Xianyu, which is where many unbranded lamp and shade sellers sit

  3. MegaShip DDP sea freight for oversized consignments up to 3 tons, a realistic option for large chandeliers or pallet-scale bulb orders

  4. Warehouse QC photography, parcel consolidation, a freight estimator and optional Worry-Free Shipping

  5. 0% advertised agent fee with 90 days of free storage, useful when waiting for several lighting sellers to ship before consolidating

What to check

  1. The displayed CNY-to-USD rate can cost more than the 0% service-fee headline suggests, so log the rate on the day of each order

  2. Bulky lamps are charged on whichever of actual or volumetric weight is greater; a wide but light shade can price like a heavy carton

  3. Basic QC covers visible condition only and cannot confirm electrical certification, wiring safety, voltage compatibility or driver quality

  4. Glass shades, acrylic diffusers and exposed filaments travel badly; packing upgrades and fragile-goods handling are separate paid choices

  5. Coupons may carry minimum spends, route restrictions, caps and expiry dates, so confirm them in the account before submitting a parcel

Three entrances, one warehouse

Direct purchase is for supported marketplace pages that iTaobuy can parse into a normal order. Fill&Buy is the manual route for seller albums, second-hand listings or private offers that need the buyer to supply instructions. Forwarding is different: the buyer purchases independently and sends the parcel to the iTaobuy warehouse. All three routes can end in consolidation, but responsibility for seller communication, price confirmation and order details is not identical. On lighting specifically, the split matters because a parsed pendant listing carries a full spec sheet while an album lamp may arrive with no socket standard, no voltage label and no plug type recorded anywhere. Decide the route before comparing costs.

The spreadsheet handoff is where most lighting mistakes begin

A spreadsheet cell usually carries a source URL, not a complete buying decision. Open the original listing and the iTaobuy result side by side. Match the seller, fixture model, selected finish, diameter or wattage, quantity, source price and Chinese domestic freight. Lighting rows are unusually easy to lose detail on: multi-variant sellers list the same pendant in four finishes and three cord lengths, and a parsed page can silently default to the cheapest combination. If the page cannot be parsed, do not force the link through direct purchase — move it to Fill&Buy and preserve the seller's instructions. This small handoff check is what stops a clean-looking agent page from hiding a wrong variant or incomplete manual order.

Warehouse arrival is a decision point, not a waiting room

Warehouse intake creates four choices: accept the item, ask for clarification, seek a return or keep it for consolidation. iTaobuy's basic inspection checks visible defects and whether obvious details such as size and color appear correct; it cannot establish authenticity, internal wiring quality, safety certification, fit or durability. For lamps, read the photos for the specific damage that shipping actually causes — chipped glass edges, hairline cracks at shade rims, dented metal shades, bent arms, missing mounting screws and mismatched plug types. Bulbs deserve a count check as well as a breakage check, since a carton of ten can arrive short without any visible damage. Review images promptly rather than treating the 90-day free-storage period as a reason to delay; the warehouse clock is for consolidation planning, not quality assurance.

Choose the shipping architecture, not just the cheapest line

Ordinary parcel lines suit typical consumer hauls and should be compared by chargeable weight, restrictions, tax treatment, compensation and route estimate. Lighting is where volumetric weight quietly takes over: a low-density shade or a wide linear fixture can bill on the space it occupies rather than on the scale reading, so always compare the quoted chargeable weight against the physical one. MegaShip is a separate DDP sea-freight use case for eligible oversized consignments of up to 3 tons to the EU, United States, United Kingdom and Canada — the plausible fit for a multi-fixture project order, large chandeliers or pallet-scale bulb cartons. A lower per-kilogram headline does not automatically make sea freight suitable: confirm minimums, destination coverage, item restrictions, handling needs and the live final quote, and remember that fragile glass in a long sea transit needs the packing decision made before, not after, the box is sealed.

Follow one cost trail from CNY source price to USD payment

A useful spreadsheet check records both the source price and the agent's displayed total. On 2026-09-19, the supplied Weidian item showed CNY 860 on iTaobuy and US$151.29 for the product; 860 ÷ 151.29 = 5.6844 CNY per US$1. The same preview added 15 CNY domestic shipping (US$2.64), making the order total US$153.93, while international shipping was not included. That is the important limitation for lighting: the biggest numbers on a lamp order come after the warehouse, in chargeable weight, packing upgrades and any fragile-goods handling, and none of them appear in the product-page preview. This is a checkout snapshot, not a permanent rate. Re-run the calculation for the actual order and record the date, currency, domestic charges, optional services and international shipping separately.

How to use iTaobuy

  1. Sort each lighting row into the right buying route

Use Direct Buy when iTaobuy correctly parses a supported marketplace listing. Use Fill&Buy when a Yupoo album, Xianyu offer or private lamp seller needs manual instructions. Use forwarding only when you buy independently and need the iTaobuy warehouse to receive and consolidate the goods.

  2. Compare the source page with iTaobuy's parsed page

Keep the source page open beside iTaobuy. Check the seller, fixture model, finish, size or wattage, quantity, CNY price and domestic freight. If the shade diameter, socket type or voltage disappears during parsing, stop and correct the route instead of assuming the agent page is complete.

  3. Record the complete pre-warehouse cost

Write down the source CNY price, iTaobuy's displayed USD price, domestic delivery and any optional service. If you fund the wallet, inspect the payment channel's actual-payment amount as a separate checkpoint. Apply coupon thresholds only after the parcel route is known.

  4. Turn QC photos into an accept, clarify or return decision

Inspect warehouse images as soon as they appear. Look for cracked glass, scuffed finishes, missing screws or ceiling plates, wrong plugs and unlabelled drivers. Accept only when visible details match; ask for clarification when photos are inconclusive; request a return promptly while the seller's rules allow it. The 90-day free-storage period is a consolidation window, not an extended QC deadline.

  5. Build the shipment around the parcel, not the coupon

For an ordinary haul, compare live parcel lines by chargeable weight, restrictions, tax treatment and compensation. For an eligible oversized load, price MegaShip separately and confirm DDP coverage, minimums and handling rules. Only then apply a route-compatible shipping coupon and submit the parcel.

Shopping-agent guide

Work through an iTaobuy spreadsheet in two passes. The first pass is link research: classify each lighting source, compare the original listing with the parsed agent page, and reject rows that no longer resolve cleanly. The second pass is transaction control: record the live conversion, review warehouse evidence for cracks, missing parts and wrong voltage, then choose a shipping structure that fits the parcel rather than the promotion headline. Three things decide the outcome on a lighting order. Route: Direct Buy for marketplaces iTaobuy can parse, Fill&Buy for albums and private sellers, forwarding for goods you bought yourself. Evidence: seller identity, exact variant, wattage or size, and the date each row was last checked. Parcel: chargeable weight, fragility, destination voltage and whether the load is large enough for MegaShip sea freight. Keep source price, agent price, domestic freight, optional services and international freight in separate fields so the CNY-to-USD result can be recalculated on the day you actually pay.

Frequently asked

iTaobuy — which order mode should I use for a lamp or light bulb?

Direct purchase when iTaobuy parses the marketplace page and reproduces the finish, size and wattage you need. Fill&Buy for Yupoo or private-seller albums that need manual instructions. Forwarding when you buy the item yourself and only need warehouse receipt, consolidation and international shipping.

iTaobuy — what should the QC photos prove on a fragile lighting order?

Basic inspection covers visible defects and whether obvious details such as size and color look correct. On lamps that means checking rims and diffusers for cracks, counting bulbs, and confirming the plug or mounting parts. It cannot prove electrical safety, certification or long-term durability, so raise questions before shipping.

iTaobuy spreadsheet — when is MegaShip worth considering for lighting?

When the load is too large or heavy for an ordinary parcel line — several fixtures, a long chandelier crate or a pallet of bulbs — and the destination is eligible. iTaobuy advertises DDP sea freight up to 3 tons to the EU, United States, United Kingdom and Canada; confirm minimums, restrictions and the live quote first.
